Order Processing and Delivery Time

After the order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. All orders received are dispatched from Spain within 1-5 business days from the order date (subject to unforeseen circumstances that may delay dispatch). The shipping timeframe falls in the hands of our courier. These timeframes are approximate and don’t account for shipping delays. Spain and Portugal: 1-2 days. Europe: 4-5 days. North America: 2-3 days. Rest of the world: 5-8 days. All days are quoted in business days, this excludes weekends and holidays. Occasionally, shipments may fall outside the listed timeframes if an item is considered oversized or specialty. Tracking information will be offered in your confirmation e-mail sent to you following your online order. Please, ensure your personal information and shipping details are accurate at the time of checkout. We cannot reroute packages once they have been shipped.

FORESTA is not responsible for delays caused by adverse weather conditions, the customs clearance process or unforeseen circumstances that may delay dispatch. Please, note that these timeframes apply to in-stock items. Made-to-order and pre-order items ship with different timeframes as specified on the product page or the email you receive after purchase.

Shipping Costs & Free Shipping

We offer free shipping on orders above 190 €. Please, use code FREESHIP at checkout. This offer only applies to EU countries and UK on orders placed at forestatimber.com/shop. For orders under 190 € or to a different shipping destination, the shipping cost will be calculated at checkout, depending on the size of the order. Upon entering your shipping address, you will see the checkout total update with the appropriate shipping rate. 

We may sometimes offer free shipping as a promotion or discount, but we are not obligated to do so. The 190 € free shipping policy does not apply to made-to-order products. FORESTA reserves the right to fully refund and cancel free shipping orders outside of the EU in the case of costs incurred outside average shipping value.

International Shipping

FORESTA ships worldwide to most countries. All orders received are dispatched within 1-5 business days from the order date, subject to unforeseen circumstances that may delay dispatch. If you can’t check out due to shipping limitations, please feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to arrange shipping.

Duties & Taxes on Import

In some cases, for purchases outside of the EU, you might be asked to pay additional customs, duties, taxes, or VAT on import. FORESTA is not responsible for taxes, customs charges, duties, and restrictions that vary from country to country and the importation of certain products. We can’t predict whether you will have duties, taxes nor their amounts.

By ordering on FORESTA, you agree to pay the VAT which will be claimed from customs. If you refuse to pay this, the parcel will be sent back to us and we will have to pay VAT twice (import and export). We will deduct this VAT from your refund if the package is returned to us.

Secured Payment

FORESTA accepts payments via Credit or Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) and PayPal. Please, contact us if you want to make your payment by bank transfer. By purchasing a product online from FORESTA, you agree to pay an amount totalling the sum price of each product ordered at the time you make the order, the cost of delivery, and any subsequent fees required. We don’t store payment card details for security purposes.

All prices on the website are in Euros. FORESTA is not responsible for currency changes, and your bank determines the exchange rate that appears on your credit card statement.

Return Policy

Only items purchased on the FORESTA website can be returned to forestatimber.com for refund or exchange. Items purchased in a specialty stockist or retailer must be returned to their original point of purchase.

If you like to return an item, we require you to notify us by email at info@forestatimber.com within 10 working days of receiving your order. Please, package the item/items in their original packaging and include the original order invoice that was delivered with your shipment. The cost of return shipping must be paid by you. The returned item/items must be new, unused, uncleaned, and in its original saleable condition complete with original cards, outer and inner casings, and all packaging contained in the original delivery box, otherwise a deduction will be made in your refund like the decrease of value of the item.

Returns and exchanges may only be carried out by registered post or courier. Please retain your postal receipt from the provider until you are certain your parcel has been safely received by FORESTA. We recommend using a traceable and insured service. We may need to see this if we fail to receive your package. We will do our best to process your refund within 10 working days after we received the return and the item’s condition has been checked.

Items purchased at a discounted or promotional price are final sale. These items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Cancelling an Order

If you would like to cancel your order, you may do so as long as the order has not yet been packaged and dispatched.

Orders on products that are made-to-order can only be cancelled if the production of the product has not yet begun. Once manufacturing has begun on your made-to-order product, we may subtract a portion of your refund to cover the time cost of the product development. The pricing of our made-to-order designs includes our design development fees. Even if you do decide to cancel the made-to-order order before production begins, you may still be obligated to pay a portion of our development fee. If your order is eligible for cancelation and you choose to cancel, we will refund your payment within 10 working days.

Damaged Goods

If your item/items appear to be broken during transportation or have been damaged, please send us a photo of the damage, box, and item label along with your order number to info@forestatimber.com. Any damaged goods must be reported immediately upon arrival of your shipment. Please be aware that our products are handmade from natural materials and therefore exhibit unique characteristics. Small irregularities and imperfections are often inherent to the natural timbers we work with and are what make our designs special. 

If a replacement is needed, we will provide you with a return shipping label and send a new item to replace the damaged product. This will be subject to availability. If the item can’t be replaced and you wish to return the faulty item for a refund, we will refund you the full amount.

Failed Delivery

In the case that our carrier is unable to deliver a package due to an incorrect address entered by you, your refusal to pay duties, multiple failed attempts to reach you at point of delivery or otherwise, FORESTA is not responsible for payment of return shipping cost or costs to resend the package. You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returned packages due to failed delivery.

Force Majeure

If FORESTA is delayed, hindered, or prevented from performing any of its obligations under any order by reason of any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control, FORESTA will have no liability to you in respect of such non-performance and the time for performing the same will be extended until the event or circumstance has ceased. FORESTA will under such circumstances do all we can do to solve the matter for our customers as soon and entirely as possible.
